Adoption-related Alterations in the Register of Births
This entails the official registration of an adopted child in compliance with the Child’s Act of 1998(Act 560) and the Registration of Births and Deaths Act 1027 of 2020.
- Present adoption order from the court for necessary alterations contained in the order to be effected on the already existing registration that has been done.
- These is normally preceded by consultations at the Social Welfare under the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection for initial documentations before proceeding to the High Court.
